You may have the the commercials on television about how you can make boat loads of cash just for giving your opinion to consumer research companies via surveys and focus groups. Sounds great, but before you ask me where to sign up consider the facts.

There actually are consumer research companies online that are looking for people just like you who are willing to share their opinions about different consumer products. However, these gems are very hard to find. Most people who try to earn cash by taking online surveys never find enough legitimate cash surveys to take. In other words - they never make any real money.

Most survey sites that are easily found on your favorite search engine and the ones that you always see in the ads don't pay out in cash. They usually only give you points that can later be cashed out for actual currency, but the conversion rate from these exchanges is maybe one penny for every five minute survey you participate in.

There are a ton of sites that will only reward you with coupons for taking their surveys. Even worse, I've participated in some surveys that turned out to be nothing but a sales pitch. These sites have no intention of ever rewarding you with anything valuable.

So how can anyone earn cash for taking surveys? The key is finding lots of real cash for surveys and focus group sites. Since it is difficult to find lots of these sites on their own, many people opt to buy a database of cash survey sites. Either way, you need to complete your profile with as much detail as possible at as many sites as possible. It may seem like a lot of work, but it's worth it to have your inbox full of survey and focus group offers.
